About
We built DineCall so restaurants never have to choose between serving the dining room and answering the phone.
Our mission
Independent restaurants are the heart of every neighborhood — and they deserve the same tools that chains take for granted. DineCall was founded on a simple belief: every restaurant, regardless of size, should be able to answer every call, seat every table, and run every order through a single, affordable platform.
How it started
DineCall began in Vancouver, BC, working directly with local restaurants — many of them family-owned, many serving Asian cuisines that generic AI tools struggled to understand. We learned what restaurants actually need from phone answering, not what the demos look like. That lived experience shapes every decision we make.
Who we serve
We work with independent restaurants across the United States and Canada. Our platform is particularly well-suited to Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, and other Asian-American restaurants where bilingual — or trilingual — phone service was previously impossible without bilingual staff. DineCall handles English, Cantonese, and Mandarin today, with more languages on the roadmap.
How we differ
No commission pressure
Third-party delivery apps take 20–30% per order. DineCall's highest plan takes 10% with a hard $1,000 monthly cap. Many restaurants pay $0 in platform fees on the flat $3/order plan.
Built for bilingual kitchens
Most voice AI platforms work in English only. DineCall was designed from the start for code-switching between English, Cantonese, and Mandarin — because that is how many of our customers and their callers actually speak.
Real deployment, not a demo
Every restaurant that appears on our site is a real, live customer. We don't use fictional testimonials or cherry-picked call clips. If we list a restaurant as a reference, the AI is answering their phone right now.
